Thin Walls
From Wikipen
The walls are thin
in my dwelling-place,
porous enough for every whisper
to penetrate
its scant defenses.
And a whisper is sufficient—
but the walls are impervious
to sight, if not sound, so
mutually blind,
we shout at one another:
searching for some sign
of comprehension,
never sure of being heard.
